The Sectional Overhead Door glides up and under the roof when opened, allowing free space around the door opening and leaving the door opening completely free.

DESCRIPTION

Sectional doors made of horizontal steel sections insulated by 40 mm thick polyurethane foam. Including brackets, track guides, counterbalance mechanisms, operators and hardware.
 

Construction

  
* Sectional doors are upward acting doors made of horizontally placed panels
* The sections are fixed together by heavy duty galvanised hinges.
* The hoist rollers, mounted in adjustable side hinges assure a smooth movement in the track guides.
* Nylon track rollers with steel ball bearings assure a silent movement of the door.
* Guide tracks are placed on both sides of the door opening. The tracks can curb horizontally or go on vertically depending on the available headroom.
* The door weight is counterbalanced by heavy duty, oil tempered wire torsion springs on continuous ball bearing cross header shaft. The springs are guaranteed for 20.000 cycles.
* Die cast aluminium drums receive high strength galvanised aircraft cables with a minimum of 7 to 1 safety factor.
* Galvanised steel bottom brackets make the junction between the cables and the door panels.
* A black ABS lift handle / step plate is mounted into the bottom section of the door, standard on the right side seen from the inside.
* Small doors are operated by pull down rope. Chain hoists or electrical operators are available as option.
* Inside spring loaded slide bolt lock or exterior cylinder lock on end stile shall engage steel bar in the track.
* Bottom of door has flexible tube seal with double lip in aluminium retainer. Perimeter lip seals on both jambs and top of the door. Between sections is a foam seal.

* Tracks made of sendzimir galvanised steel 20/10.
* Hardware made of electrically galvanised steel.
* Springs of heavy duty, oil tempered wire spring steel.
* Door sections with sandwich construction of steel exterior and interior skins to polyurethane foam-in-place core. The foam is free of CFC. Steel skins 0,57 mm with ribbed stucco embossed texture on both sides. The two skins do not touch to create a thermal break and increase insulation qualities of the panels.
 
 

Surface protection

  
* Panels: Exterior and interior skins are pre coated prior to roll forming with a baked-on polyester off white enamel finish (25mu) over epoxy primer. 8 other colours are available.
* Tracks: sendzimir galvanised
* Hardware: electrically galvanised.
* Door sections with sandwich construction of steel exterior and interior skins to polyurethane foam-in-place core. The foam is free of CFC.
